Pastor Wood trusted in Christ in August 1999, at the age of 17, while attending a youth camp in South Carolina. His wife, Alison, was converted in November 1998 at a church service. The two met at the same Christian school during their final year of high school and married in December 2000.
Pastor and Mrs. Wood, along with their six children, served the Lord as missionaries to the Kingdom of Cambodia from 2008 until 2020. Having previously been commissioned and sent by Choice Hills Baptist Church as missionaries, they have now returned to once again minister to the believers of Choice Hills Baptist Church.
