Our Lord put His timeless stamp of approval on the importance of the family in salvation when He said, ”Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts 16:31). The family is not just the foundation of society, strong families are also a key element in a healthy church. In our August Family Focus, we use every service in August in our church focus on building strong families; maintaining godly, healthy relationships in the family; and taking our God-given duties toward our family seriously.
